1. Preheat your oven to 450 F or 230 C. Line a baking sheet with parchment
2. Prepare the marinade by adding the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt and black pepper to a small mixing bowl. Stir to combine
3. Trim any fat from the chicken breasts. Cut into 2 equal lengthwise sections from narrow to wide end. Generously coat the cut sections with the marinade
4. Arrange the matching halves with one thin end next to the other thicker end to form a more even tube shape. Starting at one end, wrap the first bacon strip lightly around the two pieces to join them. Continue to the other end by wrapping with the second bacon strip. Place with the bacon seams side down on the parchment lined baking sheet
5. Place the tray in the middle position of your preheated oven. Bake for approximately 20 minutes. Brush the BBQ sauce over the top and side of the Bacon Wrapped Chicken Dogs and return to your oven to bake for another 10 – 15 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 F or 74 C
6. Remove from oven and let rest a few minutes before serving. Suggestion: Use my Hot Dog Buns and Rolls recipe to make a complete meal
