1. Preheat oven to 400 F or 200 C. Place the cubed acorn squash onto a baking sheet, drizzle 1 tbsp of oil on top, and toss. Spread out and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the squash is fork tender. When done, remove from oven and transfer the cubes into a casserole dish. Spread out over the bottom of the casserole. Drizzle 1/3 cup or 74 g of the Thousand Island Dressing over the squash. Distribute half of the grated cheese over the entire bottom. Set aside
2. Place a large skillet on the stovetop, set to medium heat. Pour in the rest of the oil and, when sizzling, drop in the onion. Sautee until the onions are translucent. Add the ground beef, breaking up any clumps. Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Toss well as you cook the meat, until the meat is cooked well
3. Distribute the cooked meat over the bottom and on top of the cheese layer. Spread the rest of the grated cheese over the meat
4. Place the casserole in the preheated oven set to 400 F or 200 C. Bake for 10 minutes
5. When done, take the casserole out of the oven and place on the counter. Spread the lettuce evenly over the cheese layer. Distribute the tomatoes over the top of the lettuce, then also spread out the dill pickle pieces. Drizzle the remaining Thousand Island dressing over the surface. Lastly, sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds on top. Serve and enjoy!
