OPTIONAL: sprinkle of red onion – either fresh or pickled
DIRECTIONS
1. Grill or boil the hot dog
2. Cut the bun in half but not all the way through. OPTIONAL: Lightly butter the inside of bun, and grill over high heat to lightly golden
3. Place the hot dog into the bun. Distribute the warm chili over the length and on top of the hot dog. Sprinkle the cheddar over the red onion. Enjoy!
